FOR THE ONE
about.
A movement in Waco, TX that shares testimonies of Jesus through art and story. We bring people together from every walk of life, to show that you are the one Jesus is after, no matter how far you have wandered.

What We Do
1
Faith & Testimony
We believe stories matter. Testimonies reveal how faith, relationships, and true community support can shape identity, healing, and transformation. Through shared experiences, we seek to make visible the lived realities and spiritual journeys in Jesus Christ often unseen within our city. These stories reflect the real, and oftentimes shocking lives of those inflicted by housing insecurity, their personal transformation, and the process of healing through faith and community.
2
Community Engagement
FTO serves alongside communities affected by homelessness, poverty, addiction, grief, and displacement through relational outreach, authentic friendships, storytelling, and shared acts of care. Our work centers on dignity, presence, and long-term community connection. These topics often create judgement and division within our cities, but FTO believes meaningful change is possible when people choose compassion and likeness over assumption, avoidance, and division.
3
Social Impact
FTO seeks to learn from and document how community-led outreach initiatives develop, grow, and create meaningful change within their cities. Through interviews, surveys, and participant observation, we intend to learn how diverse communities build trust, strengthen relationships, and address social challenges. The goal is to better understand these efforts so that their successes, lessons, and practices can help inform and encourage similar initiatives in other communities.
