Micah's message to the world: "You are the somebody." - 2 Chronicles 16:9

I’m from Eskdale, Utah. About a month ago, life led my wife and me into a season without a physical home — but I don’t see us as homeless. We are witnesses of God’s faithfulness. Jesus has always been with me. Even through years of pain, abuse, and nights of crying to sleep wishing I was different, He never left me. As a child, when I blamed myself for everything, He reminded me it wasn’t my fault — and told me to stay strong and firm in faith. God healed my heart again and again, showing me that I would be okay, and teaching me to strive for better, to seek love and to give love.
In 2012, I experienced what I can only describe as a miraculous transfiguration. I had debilitating carpal tunnel and could not work. During ministry school — the School of Supernatural Life — someone at church prayed over my wrists. I felt heat radiating through them, and I was instantly healed. That moment changed me forever. It showed me that I am deeply loved by God — loved enough to be restored and given new life.
Leaving everything behind, I stepped into ministry with no place to stay, trusting that God had called me to help others who needed it most. This journey — especially becoming unhoused — has shown me the deep flaws in our systems, but also the deep kindness of those who have the least. The homeless people I’ve met are the most generous souls, coming together to feed and care for one another.
Being away from our daughter, Grace Anne Elizabeth — named after our old church, Grace Center — has been the hardest part. Her name is a constant reminder to me that grace means God’s empowerment to fulfill your purpose. I’ve learned that the labels we wear — husband, wife, dad — can make us focus on performance, but what truly matters is simply being: being a friend, being present, and enjoying this beautiful life God has given us.
I dream of creating an aquaponics facility called Garden of the Gods — a place where the unhoused can find meaningful work, dignity, and community. What if instead of just feeding the homeless, we empowered the homeless to help feed the world? They have dreams that could be the answers to the world’s problems. I want to show the world the truth of God’s abundance.
At the heart of it all, my home is wherever my wife is. As long as I have her, I am not homeless. I just want her to be happy, even if it’s not with me — that’s how much I love her.
Your personal relationships are where Christ shows up. Are you being a good friend? A loving friend? That’s where God lives — in the love we give one another.
I am at peace. We are co-creating with God — thinking with intention, loving with purpose, and living in faith every single day.
